Luft M43's Officer's Cap: Opinions Needed

Please, what is everyone's opinion on this cap? It appears correct, and I've asked a few M43 collectors for their thoughts as well.

I believe the eagle and cockade to be original to the cap. The piping I'm not so sure about. From what I understand, the lack of a mfr. year is okay, but why an RB# for what looks to be a private purchase piece.

Hey Larry...... Looks good to me. Love those zigzag stitched eagles.
If that checks out in hand it would be a beauty to have. I think it's safe to get it and if there's a problem just send it back. I don't think everything that comes out of there is always good but I've never heard of any problems with a return.
Looks like something a FJ officer would wear....

Larry i do like the way the insignia is sewn but there are a few things that dont make sence hard to say just from these pics would like to see it in hand and get a closer look at the piping and a few other details ( machine applied piping on an em cap ?)
