HI GENTLEMEN help is need please you all to advice on this officers version overseas cap if it is period piece thanks [that im intersted in buying ] theres no glow under black light cocade and bouillion eagle look period but still i havnt had the experience of owning one of these Yet ,so all constructive comment and advice welcome thank you

I will probably tell a stupidity, but I have read in the "Visor Janke characteristics" thread that, on an officer's visor cap, such cockades with black thread instead of cockades with black painted bullion were red flag. Isn't it the same on side caps ? My knowledge about that is limited, I just ask an interesting question !

My side cap has the black-painted bullion, so New Kid may have a point.
