          Personally I think it looks terrific, even with the condition of the liner band. It is similar to an officer visor I have, which looks immaculate on the outside but unfortunately the maker used the style of liner band made of paper covered with pressed leather which rarely survives intact if the visor has seen much use.

          That will turn away other collectors but not me. I would be glad to own that beauty.

          BTW, love that flawless looking black visor.

            Looks like a nice cap. Not very common do you see a blue liner in something other then a Kriegs and civil.
