Willy Sprengpfeil mm in Heer side cap

What do you think of this Sprengpfeil mm in an Army side cap? It is an M42 Schiffchen that belongs to a friend of mine and he is wondering if it is legit.

It looks plausible. However, there are many excellent copies of this MM -- Probably more than any other single maker for this type hat.

The "Sprengpfiel" mm is very common for the fakers to use in their creations. However this one is how they should look like. There is some more accepted versions but this is IMO a correct one.

But... To fake a mm is the easiest part. There is just a matter of time until they got the "SP" mm right. Would love to see the rest of this cap, so far so good.
