sidecap seems correct.
insignias too, but i can't say for 100% sure if originaly seewn.
any visible elements about color of the soutache ?

All I have are the pics ,the hats on the east coast somewhere.Maybe my friend can answer about the soutache. I think the insignia may be re applied. There seems to be a shadow around the cockade.Maybe just the photography or a ghost from previous insignia.WR Jim

My friend talked to the owner and there are remains of cav soutache.

sidecap seems correct.

Never saw that maker before..unusual BUT not unheard of to see maker markings on side panel..Billbert
