WW1 or WW2 Visor???

Please, can you tell me what this is???

I have a chance to buy it for about $100.... but since the dealer seems to be a general antique seller and not a WW2 specialist, I am not sure if it is Third Reich.

Could somebody please clue me in? What is this exactly? Also sorry for the crumby photo.

It is a veterans visor, if it has swastikas on the band it is period pre 45. If just iron cross and vet monument it is post war. Do a forum search and you will find pictures of both.

Is the post war version of any value? It has no swastikas.

There's really no collector interest in these postwar caps, so it's not worth close to 100.00. Save your money!
