Left side of chappy, bullion eagle and wreath is far the best I have on any current visor.

It's posts like Ben's #13 that make me want to get into collecting period photos, because you always find something interesting - there, you have an officer with an M36 officer's cut tunic wearing an EM/NCO belt!

Many thanks John and cheers Stonemint (Chris) for the three , I will take some more pics in the next few days, a few full frontal shots. This cap amazed me when I bought it as it has hardly any wear. It is made of the slightly rough feel trikot but looks stunning. As I mentioned previously, the bullion insignia is so stunning it's shimmering.

If anyone's seen the 1955 German made film "Das Teufel General" with Curd Jurgens, you will now what I mean by shimmering, the shimmer's from Curd's bullion work reminds me of the quality on this one.

If you havn't seen the film, grab a copy off ebay. It's in German, but just watch the action, you get a feel of what is going on. The uniforms are most probably real. The scene where the SD man makes a vinyl "spy" recording of jurgens from an adjoining room from a lump of gunk is superb.

I have now received my Panzer Erel NCO from Detlev. It is magnificent. I will take pics of it when I do more of the chaplain. It is a real one looker.

A few extras of my Chaplain's as requested. I always take pics in natural light as the flash always seems to alter the colour tones. Hopefully these will be a little more in clarity colour wise that the last.

Hola Sturmbanfuhrer!!! Lovely, superb, unique..I understand your foto thinking about the light but please do your good deed today...take it outside for a nice airing. Spoil me,I'm old! I want to see that visor in "brilliant"mode!! Use indoor or nice outdoor light, post the fotos, then delete them from your camera!! I won't tell anyone,I promise! These rare caps and uniforms should all be preserved for furure collectors and the digital images are a great reference resource. Many thanks, hope you don't mind a little teasing,John Wilson

Hi John, when I get a few more spare minutes, I'll take the Chaplain outside for the full on natural light treatment. Happy Days.
