Another visor waiting for your opinion

I do not like it. Seems to be Chaplain purple waffenfarbe, with gold general cord, but has silver buttons holding cord. I am not a fan of the black interior, and I question the sweat band.

The pics are not the best but it is not doing much for me. It could be period but it looks played with. It just does not look natural.

I took a better look, the visor is period. It is hard to tell but it looks like at the very least the sweatband and/or visor have been re-stitched. I also have a feeling this is a private purchase em/nco upgrade. If the price were real, real good I would buy it but there are much better examples out there.

Isn't this the 'material' we see in very early post war visors? This was my first impression...

The padding is excessive and may compare w/ some 50-60's police caps!
