NSKK "Hochland" but with a regular edelweiss (as word in Austria) instead of the stemless NSDAP Swazi edelweiss as worn in Bavaria + "traditions knopfen" (edelweiss buttons!) added
(cap was found in Austria but stripped...)

Truly great headgear to be seen in this thread.

Here is my humble contribution. An M 40 NSKK helmet with removed scroll and removed red part of the tri color. Most probably Transport Gruppe Speer.

Thanks Nick Iam still trying to find out why the red part was removed from the tricolor. So far I know of 3 examples with exactly the same feature. (removed scroll and red part) It must have been a special unit designation or something....

I think it has to do with de-nazifying the helmet...
The red-white-black colors are the "evil" TR colors...
It appears that the swastika on the eagle decal has also been tampered with.
(Just an educated guess...who knows?)
