Think this might be one with the thin leg and thinner swas..

I think this debate could go on forever in this case. I really am not seeing the similarities between the insignia that started this thread vs the original pics posted. Close (yes) but just not there.

If you don't see similarities, how can you say it's close ?.. ...plus you suggest that there already should've been a final verdict..
I personally don't care if a thread goes on forever as long as the info is good..,only saying fake or good is a "worst case" scenario to me, because it doesn't tell anything.
I think it's good to show people why, plus all info provided can be used to learn something...
If I say "fake" ...,what do you learn ?
Anyway, I always try to illustrate what I mean and to me all eagles sofar tell me a lot..
This "long neck" eagle isn't that common and has some typical features, so it's hard to find pictures, plus if I find them at least they are close or the right match..
Also, let's not forget that 10 identical eagles from the same maker are all 10 different and not exact clones..
I personally think that the eagle on the woman's hat is very close if not..
It's a long neck with a thin leg and thin swas and now don't tell there're a dozen different ones of those, because there're not..
It's a blurry pic,but it's all boils down detecting the features..
Goal is to identify the eagle and try to prove if it's a real one and if the type did exist...,not only a simple yes or no..
The challenge is to start working, the most textbook eagles are easy to find, but after that it's getting harder..
I've 50 gig material on my PC, but suggested "easy" things like this are pretty tough in reality.
....that's how I see it,so don't get nervous if the answer isn't there yet..we only try..,while others are waiting for the verdict, watching TV and eating chips, no ?

              Jos.
