Hi Guys, I am still photographing my collection, so here is another cap to share with you. I bought this one back in the late 1970's for ******163;15. The cap is a very small size, about a 55. Insignia is hand sewn.

Interior. The cap shows good honest wear, which is what I like to see. The ink stamped makers marks, which are in a box form, are very faint and are barely visable to the naked eye.

And still they come...
just to expand on the Luft theme, i have a fliegermutze in my collection, which has a Bevo cockade. As far as i understand it this is not a common occurence, does anyone have any thoughts on this,or have you encountered other examples on your collecting travels?

HI Patrick, I cannot recall ever seeing a Bevo cockage on a fliegermutze myself. Unusual? But often seen on the Einheitsfeldmutze. I do recall someone from the UK posting a cap with one, which turned out to be a repro. If the rest of cap is "textbook" (not really a term I like) I would not worry too much. I would have thought that if anything an eagle might have been removed post war, but the cockade is fairly inoffensive and would be more likely to stay in place? Could be a makers shortage?
Not a lot of help I know, as I am only guessing.
