Hi Torsten, on page 313 ( Angolia's Die Kriegsmarine uniforms and traditions)shows a blue navy M43. I would quess that these are very rare and if one would ever got one he should be extremely careful.

Denfinitly...and just because it's in the book does not make it so...it's just a modern photo of an "example".

I do not have that Angolia book... I take it then that there are no period photos known that show this kind of cap in wear??? Cheers, Torsten.

Hi Torsten

The buttons on your cap are not the same as in angolia's book.
