I recently picked this cap up at a local antique shop for cheap. I am nearly positive that the cap itself is original but the visor was detached at some point and replaced with what I believe to be a post war visor. The eagle is incorrect and I will replace it with the correct one eventually. Also I think this is an enlisted cap not an officer because of the black chin strap buttons and someone put an officer chin strap on it.
