M1895 opinion

Hi all,

I'm no buckle collector or so but purchased this M1895 buckle from the forum to display with a ww1 pistol. On a local Belgian forum there's doubt about the originality of the buckle. Some concerns are : restauration, freshly soldered, nail in fork, position lines, raw edges... .

Any opinions please?
