It's an original buckle from Christian Theodor Dicke, but it's not necessarily Afrikakorps; Heer buckles with this finish were also issued to regular troops, so they aren't considered 'tropical' unless they include a web tab.

Agreed; a great buckle.

Two very nice buckles, especially the ESL.
But they are standard Heer/WH buckles.
The light green colour itself does not indicates a DAK supply. As Belten wrote is necessary the web tab to define a tropical buckle. IMO.
