That's a nice original buckle. The 'EC' marking is uncommon, and I believe that the maker is still unknown.

Someone say Ebberg & Co (M4/47, M5/36), other say Ernst Conze (M1/86, M5/70) ... both are from Lüdenscheid. Who know.
