    Pewtar roundel-Post war buckle

    Hi all
I didn't know if I should post this on the post war forum or here, anyway here we go.
The roundel seems to be pewtar, glued somehow to the post war box.
There is writing on the tab, very hard to read, hopefully I've got it right,it may mean something to someone.

    Pz Gren
    Wolter 9/12
    3 Zu? 90 1m
    12 Gruppe

and on the tab,if you look on th inside of the short piece of leather,Guntber is written and also markings and writing on the belt.
If anyone knows what the writing means could you please let me know and also the markings 8-64-41 on the belt.
Thanks for any help and has anyone seen anything like this before.
    Regards
    Spike

          Spike,
The markings maybe from the West German owner, but the whole rig (belt & buckle) is "current" German military that someone has jazzed up to look like it's 3rd Reich. Obviously "Panzer Grenadier" (does current German Military use "Panzer Grenadier" as terminology), 3rd Zug (Squad), 12th Group....but really...these add little interest to an almost worthless West German belt set.

          No offense meant....

            Hi John
I got these sight unseen, when talking to the guy I got them off over the phone I was hoping that they were going to be a Reichsheer - TR change over buckle, but not,you win some you lose some.
I know it doesn't have much value, but was interested to see if anyone had seen anything like it before and thanks for the heads up on the markings, appreciated.
Were there any buckles made out of pewter originally, the disc to me does look like a good one.
            Thanks again for your reply.
            Best
            Spike
