My guess would be stab 3 abteilung Gebirgs-Artillerie-Regiment 9

I am not sure it is correct though, cant find that regiment..

Army Alu buckle tab markings but could be St3/G.A.R.79 instead of St3./.G.A.R. /9
looks like the top part of the 7 is missing?

That makes more sense, there is a GJ Artillery unit. So it is for the Staff of (III?) Gebirgs-Artillerie-Regiment 79 which would have been based in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, nice clear marking
