M4 Question

Hi chaps, can anyone confirm this or put it to rest, is M4/34 Nordwall & Welschehold the M4 name and number for Dransfeld & Co? Has anyone any publication with this text in it? Any help would be great

I am not quite sure that i understand the question, but I can say this...
the maker "Karl Wurster " (RZM 34) has been known to mark their buckles mistakenly "RZM M4/34" if you want some photographic examples, search the forum for "rzm 34 " I am pretty sure I posted a thread with pics.. not sure if I helped at all.. can you clearify the question..Chad

Hi Chad, I am trying to say that it has been said that M4/34 Nordwall & Welschehold and Dransfeld & Co are actually the same company, if this is so does anyone have any proof of this or are they both in fact separate companies?

Maybe the source of this assumption is to find in Angolia's book?
There you can read that M4/34 belongs to Heinrich Nordwall Dransfeld & Co / Menden.

Hi Guido, wie gehts my friend mate I have just read that in the book,surely there cannot be two Dransfeld companies from Menden? I think they are one and the same

The odd thing is, that other sources term another name together with M4/34:
Nordwall & Weschehold/ Menden??

Knows anyone the original text together with M4/34? Maybe from the RZM-Mitteilungsblatt?
