    I thought that this RLB (first pattern) buckle may be of interest.

    Usual first pattern design as steel with a brass coloured coating and a silver paint or wash final finish.

    Markings are however slightly unusual.

    Raised RZM and also the UE code of 78, supported by the Paulmann and Crone logo.

    Would assume that the buckle dates from early 1933 to early 1935.
