I made an indiegogo page to for collecting funds to help buy it and bring it to the US.

The important part is to research what it's worth, as no-one, medication or not, wants to pay more. [ to lob insults indicates loss of a point or argument made ].

The reason any item goes to auction, rather than simply ask a price, is that the seller wants maximum dosh.

Anyone starting an auction so low, for an item worth more is having a joke and deluding those with no knowledge and no budget.
It is simply a method of creating more interest in order to get competing bidders to go up, up, up.

Auctions are great, but sadly on items that are of interest, it's always the guy with the biggest wallet that wins.

What is your point? We all know what is meaning of auction.Always in items like this Panzer 4 which have historic value price goes high(even thou this specimen did NOT take part to ANY war).First bid can be 1euro but IT DOES NOT MEAN ANYTHING.If you cant understand that,i think there is really something seriously wrong in your brain.Insult or not.

Finnish Panzer 4´s arrived too late to take part in war against russia.Neither they did not take part to Lapland War against Germans.They were sended to north but after few days stopped and pulled back to south.Never took part to warfare.

Something not mentioned is that this website may not work like the more famous ebay.

Some auction websites offer intensives to start auctions low. Like listings fees only for items above a certain threshold. Or free listings that start under a certain level. Maybe they were given an insensitive to start the listing small?

Secondly, maybe the person in charge of the listing does not love tanks and keep up with their value? Maybe it is a little old lady behind a computer, and all she sees is a big nasty bit of metal?


All in all, it really isn't worth arguing about.

Panzer IV is located inside guarded Army area.It is possible to visit it,but every viewer/visitor must call to contact person and ask lisence to enter area with contact person.And i think they dont like cameras inside Army base.Auction pictures are propably the only ones possible to see.

Price is now 29020euros and 6days left of auction.There is posibility that it does not go as high as Sturmgeschutz frames few years ago...We will see.

Army auctions in Finland has ALWAYS been without base prices.10years ago you could get russian ATS-59 tracked artillery highspeed tractor in fully working condition as low as 100euros(This vehicle have T-55 tank chassis and engine).My friend have 3 of those,first one cost him 100euros,next one 5years later in army auction 500euros and last one almost 1000euros.So prices developed becouse these vehicles were less and less available.

But items like Panzer IV and Sturmgeshutz are LEGENDARY war vehicles and prices are totally different.

And price is now about 29000€. Not expensive for a Pz IV...but too much for me ( my wife decided we had to buy a new car last june a brand new Volkswagen anyhow, so quite related to the theme)
