Panzer Related (NOT historical but bonus Pics!)

Hey Guys -

I hesitate to post this stuff (and moderators please take down if inappropriate), because I don't know if it fits in the spirit of the forum, but until I can finally add something Original and Panzer related to my collection, I thought I'd share a little of my Panzer mania!

Just a few projects I've been working on to dress up my workshop and WW2 room (in process with a very small collection so far). The Tiger is 77% scale. Why 77% scale you ask? Because my basement shop wasn't tall enough to fit 100%! I wish it was.

The profiles are some things I've been working on with a home built CNC machine. Hopefully these will make some nice background decoration once I find space for them.

Just so I don't feel too guilty about sharing personal pet projects, I've included a few pics from the AWESOME Blindes Tank Museum in France. I have lots more if people are interested and haven't seen this place yet although I'm sure many of you are familiar with it. I have never been to Bovington (it's on the bucket list), but it looks a lot like this place in France from the pictures (except their Tiger 1 isn't operational although I believe their King Tiger actually is).

Saumur museum is great, but i wonder why they show a Tiger I with SS unit marking and with a Heer crew.
Maybe it would be politicaly incorrect to show a SS crew, or maybe they displayed dummies long after painting restoration job was done, and didn't want to change it.
I don't know if its hull n° indicates it belonged to s.SS-Pz.-Abt. 102., like for the Vimoutiers Tiger I.

But a tiny remark....your 77% tiger is a late 44' Ausführung ( boschlight in the middle and late style commanders cupola.....so erase the Afrikakorps palmtree please

I knew this crew would easily spot an inappropriate symbol. In pretty sure the DAK symbol wasn't put on the front of the tank either (?) but I couldn't help myself. Had to go with the best cleanest vector file I could find for the Tiger which is apparently a later version...

When I lived in the UK I was only 20 mins away from Bovington so was a frequent visitor and a member of the Friends of the Tank museum. Now I live in France and am only an hour away from Saumur so have had ample opportunity to compare both and they are both well worth a visit. N.b. In Saumur you're supposed to pay to take photos (you get a little badge to stick on your shirt) but I don't know if this is ever enforced. Saumur has more German AFV than Bovington which I think is more oriented towards British armour but nonetheless has a lot of very interesting stuff including TWO KT2. The Char B1bis which was captured on either Jersey or Guernsey and which was used as Beutepanzer has now been sent back to the Channel Islands on loan. I mention this because I believe it still had it's original camo (as definitely does the Springer demolition vehicle) so was of particular interest. Saumur has a "Carousel" every year when they trot out most of their functioning armour including their KT2, Luchs and Panther. Before I pop my clogs I hope to visit Munster to check out their collection.
