Why do you call it a Panzer helmet? It's an early flight helmet or motorbike helmet to me.

Agree with Nick….If its a Tanker its Maybe French….VERY Early French. Like Nick Said Avaitor or Motorbike.

But some differencies are present.

It is a Luftwaffe motorcyclist helmet. Look for LBA stamps and perhaps unit numbers on the skirt.

A friend has a similar or same (I really cannot recall it) in his collection, the patents are marked "Herkules" if my memory serves me well. We identified it as an early hungarian tanker helmet...the source or maker can be the same as for the LW biker helmet! Just guessing...
