[QUOTE=Daniel.S;5065274]I actually think the price will be quite fair......it is build in russia. If the builders offer a fair price for the build i think they would be getting a lot of orders because even a 20-25 man Reenactor unit could afford it then.

I think the chance of that happening is no chance ( can you realy see a bunch of reinactors spending that sort of cash) and i think the price will be over $500,000 + shipping for a scratch built tank. The rather poor tigers and panthers from Northwest Military Services are $285,000 + shipping and they are sheet metal on a ex soviet tank.

Yeah, if Bill Gates is in your unit otherwise you'd probably need a Division of reenactors to afford one!

Well, i still think the price is quite fair.

That is a great build, and many thanks for sharing all the images of your project.

Did you have blueprints made for this or did you do that also?

Good blueprints alone can be something of good market value as there are many people equipped with shops thta could manufacture these.

Was wondering about the drive sprockets, was there any special metal treatment done to these to help give them a good service life?

All mechanisms became for long service. The project did from zero.

I thought actually it migh be around 100.000 euros...

With 100.000 price tag its just around 4k to everyone to invest, and its not much if its your hobby.

Im quite sure most reenactors have more than 1.3 euros to invest.

                            Daniel.

The price for such tank not the high. For his manufacture did not take ready basis of existing military vehicles. He is made under our project. Manufacture траков for caterpillars managed in 55.000 dollars. Other details did of high-strength steels.

Fantastic Tank Stepsam do you build any other types of military machinery ?
I would also be interested on the fuel economy of a tank like this
Best of luck with future projects, regards Toby.
