The Tiger I think is +/- OK but I don't like it either
But I really hate the Pz IV variants on T55 basis. They are a joke

That was my first thought also. That said, you should have a closer look at Tiger E pictures from Berlin in the end.
Though Bovy for some reason didn't allow for the Tiger to be repainted and done with some more battle damage and minor mods, it seems to me that this Tiger is fairly close to the actual seen there at the time.

I think you're all missing my point..........how often do you see a REAL Tiger in the movies regardless of early/mid/late production details! Do you think these cats sit on a shelf waiting for directors to take their pick like its a car supermarket?
I'd rather see the real deal than some made up T55 any day of the week! I take my hat off to the Fury team for making the effort to borrow 131 from Bovy.

          Well bleedin' said

Have to agree with that .

Some people just like moanin' coz it gives them a chance to hear themselves speak , plus they have nothing useful to say.

With these kind of things, you will never get 'perfection' and even if you did, someone would still moan.................because they can.

          SF.

Don't see the reason for the above rant.
Fred mearely pointed that an early Tiger was used instead of a late and my reply was to correct this, since it is not well known that there are pictures of early Tiger found in the final days in Berlin.
This means that the film makers who were to my understanding actually looking for an early Tiger, did succeed very well in their mission.
Also, I thought my remark that Bovy for some reason did not seem to allow for the Tiger to be repainted and made up with some battle damage would be taken with some humor as intended.

I usually only try to reply to things when I have the idea that my answers can be constructive. The above was intended as such.
