Who do you guys think was the best panzar division and commander? I dont know alot about the diffrent units or there comanders. Maybe you guys can educate me a little about the diffrent one out there. Of course i know who Whittman was and i think his story is pretty amazing but i would like to get some info on some other guys. Was Whittman the guy whos tank took over 50 hits and keep fighting?

Thats very true but i would like to hear about some other noteable warriors. I got a dress bayonet and it has a troddel that supost to attach it to the 4th pnzar company. I think all the tankers in that war were on the cutting edge.

Herman Balk, commanding 11th Panzer on the Chir River during November '42-January, '43 is a compelling story. Read Panzer Battles for a good account.

Thats easy Rommel and the AfrikaKorps, 21st Pz Div & 15 Pz Div, did the most with the least...
Made it all the way to el Alamien with only 12 panzers still running

Checkout Von Mellenthin's Panzer Battles, its on amazon etc.
