      Is that a 1:1 scale?

It is the full scale Pz.II replica built in Western Australia based on a highly modified Universal Carrier chassis. There are a few photos floating around the net with 1 or 2 photos showing the vehicle being fabricated on the Maple Leaf Up forum. I also recall a post on this forum about the same vehicle being for sale. YouTube video of the vehicle posted back in Dec. 2009 states it was for sale as well.

            Not bad.
Do you want some advices about how to make it better?

The tank and bike are both for sale. If anyone's seriously interested, contact me please.

                Hi Fritz 1962,

I should have read the first post in thread. You built a great Pz.II replica and I have been thinking of posting something about it on my filmpanzer blog for some time, but without permission to use the fabrication photos posted on MLU and lots of things going on at work/life I have put it off. My little blog is not milweb.net, but I will gladly do anything I can to help you advertise.

I have only seen two other Pz.II replicas, one in Poland and one in Russia, and I think your WA conversion came out the best. I don't know if you had a real Pz.II Ausf.A/B/C or Hilary Doyle's drawings in Jentz's Panzer Tract 2-1 to work with, but I think the shape and proportions are pretty much spot on considering your starting point with carrier chassis and automotive/drive train. The slightly different shape of lower rear hull kind of sticks out in my mind only because I have seen so many wartime photos of Pz.II showing that angle of the vehicle. Anyway, its a great replica and I am sure a good deal of hard work went into making it.

                Regards,

                  Brilliant!
But you have to paint that baby up in Africa tones - suit the countryside, don't you think? Plus you wouldn't need to wear black wool...
