Gentlemen, can anyone direct me to a site , or post here that shows the system of tactical symbols in use by the French prior to the adoption of the 'aces' systems of markings?..i have many photos of knocked out French tanks with these early symbols and would like to identify where they were from, and who the various units were.The various geometric shapes and dots etc are quite interesting, if not yet completely understandable!..
