I am considering purchasing piece of Heer panzer headgear and as this is not my area I wondered what I should keep in mind as far as types of headgear worn and the variants thereof. My interest is mainly in sidecaps though I do have an interest in visors and M-43's. Were they always black or pink-piped (or pink soutache) or would plain Heer pieces have been worn.
