              Thanks for posting. I was there recently in the spring and was quite dissappointed in the displays- many( but not all) of them are total fabrications created from ruins of the originals. Also the way the pieces are displayed...(here I am shaking my head) it was like some kind of "Disneyland" place. The vehicles are in "diorama" like settings and if one wanted to take serious documentary photos... well the access was very limited. Go to Munster if you want to get your money's worth!

                  Hello, there are some photos of the highest interest. I've created a PDF document which list the surviving Panther tanks all around the world, and for the moment I only have an old photo of the Panther exposed at Sinsheim. Here is the link to access to the document ;

                  So, please could you send me some good resolution photos of the Sinsheim Panther? I will put one of the photos in my PDF document with full credits to you. You can send me a mail to my private email address : soldat_ryan@hotmail.com

                  many thanks in advance

                    Totally agree. Its obvious many of the vehicle restorations were done by hacks. Plus the dump has a carnival atmosphere, especially when they have the organ playing. All it lacks is popcorn, cotton candy and a merry go round for the kiddies.

                    And what's up with all those stupid smiling mannequins with the wigs and the helmets too small for their heads? And the potted palms everywhere? Gives the impression WW2 was fought by gay interior designers. Sinsheim is lame.
