    Hallo

    Since two weeks i'm happy owner Sd.Kfz.251 Ausf A . In the near future i want to starting with restoration, but i need more information.
    Now i'm looking for photos of this vehicle.

            that is neat, I wish I could get one and restore it. That would be especially great for reenacting. But have fun restoring it, if thats what you plan on doing, and when done show us it.

                  i echo what others have said a terrific find!! from the condition of it you have alot of work to do,please keep us updated on your progress,make sure to take plenty of pictures as you get more work done to it.

                        Like colleague Kuligow already stated, the Ausf. A is a really rare beast!

                        To my knowledge, there is only one other known survivor in a South-African museum. There was one in the Victory Memorial museum in Arlon (Belgium) which is now in the Kruse collection in the US. It is mumured that this last one had a copied body.

                          This one in South Africa is Ausf. B. My is very early, strange model with thin body, 3mm metal sheet on cabin. This is problem, because is no model for remade missing parts!!! Now i must collect lot of photos of this halftrack.

                            Here is a picture of the only other Sdkfz 251 A known in existence. It is located at the Victory Musuem in Auburn Indiana.
