Thanks for the very informative post Mike!

Wonder what happened to the DRGM register?
    Regards

            Hi Masch,

are all Deumer based on the obverse design only or are the any "3" or "L/11" marked ones ever found?

Further more ar there any links to Deumer in regards of hardware?

If the "ES" marked is also a Deumer does this mean that the ES stands for "Echt Silber"? Or is it Eugen Schmidthäussler ?
            Regards
            Hans N

Well since Sedladzek is not a maker that makes more sense IMO.

                My questions still stands!

The Patent 685037 is the Deumer DRGM System

I ment in regards to other types of awards/badges to support your statement that these wound badges really are Deumer.

                          Very interesting discussion.

I just recalled this DRGM marking is widely used on the DRL/DRA Sportabzeichen badges. I browsed around and check some sites selling these awards and found this:

                          DRL Sportabzeichen
                          Wernstein-Jena D.R.G.M. 35269
                          Hensler Pforzheim D.R.G.M. 35269
                          Ferd.Wagner D.R.G.M. 35269

                          DRA Sportabzeichen
                          L.Chr.Lauer Nürnberg M.SCH.No 33918
                          Wernstein-Jena D.R.G.M. 33918
                          Wernstein-Jena D.R.G.M. 35269

                          I would assume M.SCH = Musterschutz.

                          /Jonas
