1939 BWB with packet for review

    Hi Guys,

I bought this 1939 BWB with packet some years ago from a dealer I trusted. However, I now certainly have doubts about the packet but what about the Wound Badge? Is this original or a copy? It's not magnetic, so I guess it is made of brass.

I would be very pleased to hear what people think.

Many thanks for looking and for all comments.

    All the best, Guy

I wouldn't say it's necessarily bad if it's non-magnetic......I have one in an LDO box that I believe is private purchase....However the details on yours appear weak, and I'm not overally fond of your packet....We'll see what others think.....Bodes

Don´t throw away your fake WB´s! Get in touch with me.
I collect them for reference purposes for the benefit of the hobby (for the right "fake" price of course).

Many thanks Bodes and Hans - I appreciate your comments. Glad to hear the badge looks good, even though the envelope is fake. I wish there was a book on Wound Badges - I've heard there is a very good Russian one - I just wish some enterprising publisher would publish an English version. Thanks again, all the best, Guy
