I also prefer to wait for more experienced collectors but to me, still not experienced enough on gold grade badges, I would think this is a fake.

I think i found the maker of my golden wound badge

suspected a midwar unmarked "Brehmer Markneukirchen (13)" piece

It does look to be refinished (painted).

i check this out and it's not ... the badge has the original golden finish

Definitely different looking without the flash - much more original looking.

This GWB is not what i like to see, a mixed bag with various things for the design set up and soldering trying to imitation original examples.
Not a good one.
