I agree! Both look good. Many of the Black Wound Badges by '107' (Carl Wild) are known for the heavy coating of gloss black paint which obscures much of the detail.

A better look at the badge shows the same heavy coat of gloss black paint that obscures the detail.

Sometimes these badges are so loaded with paint that the pins won't even open.
