OK here is the scoop on these pieces

They were reviewed a long time ago here:

          http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=747975

But they were never shown from the back or the hardware, hence why im reposting them.

          Thoughts? Opinions? Anything would help.

The only remark ive been given by a few people is the hardware on the back of the two pieces, possibly British?

          Thanks for looking!

            Nice

Interesting badges. Would be a great story if British.
But think German. The text on the cards are also German.
There are many variants of pins on these. Maybe someone have a
            Maker opinion?

Think the British link are because it reminds
a bit of a Silver War Badge pin.

Imo simply variant uncommon German manufactured hardware. Absolutely nothing British about the hardware or the badge.

                  Regards
                  Mike

                  PS: very nice carded examples!
                  Regards
                  Mike

Evaluate the item, not the story and not the seller's reputation!

If you PM/contact me without the courtesy of using your first name, please don't be offended if I politely ignore you!

                          colors

I have never seen the colors of the wound badges named "mat white" for silver and "mat yellow" for gold. Late war reality names or has anyone else run into these?

In the WW 1 era they always called them like that "Mattweiss" etc etc. In WW 2 era they named the WB´s "Silber" etc etc.
