    Gold Wound Badge (MM100)

    Hello,

This morning I went to a militaria fair in Northern France. I saw this gold wound badge which is marked '100' near the catch. I didn't buy it yet, but I might plan to do so. Instead, I asked if I was allowed to take some pictures and examine those first.

So gentlemen, what are your feelings for this badge? I didn't find a gold wb on the forum marked with 100 yet, so I couldn't compare to someone elses badge. The seller wants 110 € or US$ 142. Is this price correct compared to the (hopefully) original badge? Taking a shot of the badge had to go fast so the quality of the pictures is not always at best .

    Cheers,
    Laurens

The front has lost some of the gold wash (especially on the leaves and the helmet)

Laurence, could you please post a photo from the catch in profile as well (if you don't mind, something like the one I took in post #6)? I'm curious what kind of curve it follows.
The hinge looks indeed quite the same.

                      Thank you for your time

here's the front. This is the first time I have really looked at it and I am starting to wonder about the color in it? Could it be........
