    Minty #30 GWB/SWB

Thanks Tom for your comments....nice "coin".

    Again...FANTASTIC silver & gold HM'ed "30" WB.

I guess only time will tell. I'm sure the maker of the said "LATE WAR" hm'ed
"30" is laughing to the bank. As for me....I won't accept them in my collection. German quality wouldn't make this C__P!

Thanks for everyone's comments! I do enjoy this forum. I like the sharing of info and the SMEs.

Evaluate the item, not the story and not the seller's reputation!

Thanks for the link, Mike. That Black Wound badge with the wide pim is awesome.

          Mike and Tom,

Thank you for the great images and information! Seeing the MM #30 BWB really does exist gives me hope that someday I might acquire one for my humble collection. I bet that will be the most expensive BWB I ever purchase, if it happens! Amazing that it seems an RK can be purchased easier than a "common" but rarely found MM BWB award, but that is what makes this hobby fun. Most will never be able to purchase examples of the very pricey awards (me included) but the fun and challenge for me is to chase complete MM sets like shown by Tom. As an aside, I do not question the authenticity of the original late war zinc badges, I just prefer the look/hardware of the early war tombak badges and only keep a small assortment of MM zinc examples. Really a shame the zinc awards of all types often lose their finish and "boil". I always like to find a great minty condition zinc badge or medal!

Again, thanks to all and the knowledge base and quality of the WAF members continues to impress!!
