2 Silver wound badges opinions appreciated

Hi guys

Had these wound badges for quite a while got them in a job lot of badges when i first started collecting,i have always classed them as fakes, what do you think ?

1st one is maker marked L 54 in a small box below the catch

2nd marked L/11 centre of badge

Please ask if you would like any more photos, side shots of the hinge and catch and i will be happy to post them.

Hello Mark,

I would say that your initial assessment of these badges is correct. Both of them look to be poor quality castings. Neither one is original in my opinion.

From the images, I'd agree that they are both cast repros.
