Hi its a black wound badge case actually, these wound badge boxes are quite sought after but dont command great prices around 70- 80 euros i guess bit less due to the damage - dont know about the SWB value though

With regard to this blue LDO box I too have one in my collection could anyone tell me what would be the best BWB to look for as regards to making a good match? I.e. a wound badge with an L number.

Hi there,

LDO BWBs are very hard to come by, so don't feel obligated to have an LDO badge in your box. I have both the first and second patterns of these types of boxes and neither BWB is marked.

The best advice I could offer you is to look for a nice BWB.

For this very second pattern - blue - box, I've that I can think of: L/52, L/54, L/56, L/21, L/13....etc
