    Wb gold or black ?

Guys, can you help me out with this one please? It is from ground. It seems like GWB for me. BWB looks in this type different, or am I wrong ? I am not aimed for WBs at all. THanks.

More than likely originally black grade. Many earlier black grade tombak examples have an "undercoat" of gilt - I believe this is such an example from which the black paint has been removed during burial.

On the back is like to what already said by Mike, although on the front i can see some yellowish paint... The pics doesn't help much some discoloration even the material showing like zink.
Post better with natural light photos for better opinion.

I have never seen a hollow gold or silver 1939 second type WB. I also say it it (was) black.

Fyi, it's more than likely an early unmarked 93 (RS&S from memory) based on the hinge/catch.
