    A Christmas Present!

Instead of underwear and socks, my wife got me this along with a couple of other badges and a case of 90 Minute IPA Ale. Does anyone know who the maker is? Opinions and comments welcome. Ron.

        Hi Ron......

......Nice badge! The nearest....wait a sec....about the nearest I recall about these wb's is that they are early war. Looks to be made of tombac...correct? Hans, or one of the other guys may have a idea about the maker. I bet it'd shine right up with a couple drops o' that 90 minute IPA rubbed in

        Nice gift

To me it is a Deschler but some will say Wiedmann

            Cheers,
            Ronny

I agree with Ronny for a Deschler one...Hollow issues with the same set up exist too...

But not with a L/10 mark on the pin

... Wiedmann marked combat badges with a similiar setup exists
                  Best regards, Andreas

sure ... but alot of them with a setup which was up to now only found on Wiedmann marked combat badges and never on a Deschler marked combat badges.

Btw the L/10 mark is only on the massive zink wound badges but not on the tombak made ones.

                      Best regards, Andreas

Hehehe, my feeling say that you're a Wiedemann fun

The design is important and not material issues...

Don't forget Deschler as the oldest and bigest manufacturer ever...

Hmmm ... that's why their maker marked combat badges are so rare - big size = hard to find and only a few marked ones?

To tell the true i've no problem to accept more than one firm behind this design and the "11" marked ones in this design don't make the maker connection easier
                          Best regards, Andreas
