    Cased Silver Buntmetal

    Hi Guys

Picked this up not so long ago. IMO you can't beat wound badges when they look as aged as this...full of character.

The only problem with this set is that the lid has become detached from the base of the case. It is also a shame that the maker mark on the base of the case is so faint.....but you guys should have no problem identifying the badge

    cheers
    Graeme

Don´t throw away your fake WB´s! Get in touch with me.
I collect them for reference purposes for the benefit of the hobby (for the right "fake" price of course).

Cheers Ronny, one of my favourites as well. And that little stamped in maker mark makes it all the more special...

                    regards

Now you only need the zink one

                      Cheers,

                        You are correct Ronny.

I thought I had a zincer in my collection with the stamped maker mark on the reverse just below the catch, but after checking, it turns out it is another buntmetal..

It is hard enough finding the bunt ones, but I have seen less zincers

                        cheers

Thanks for showing us Graeme. I'm with you....for me the badge has "perfect wear", and in hand it must be one of those "talks to you badges".

Congrats on the nice CATCH....wish they had a fishing logo right about now.
