    BWB - opinions?

Here is one BWB that is offered to me, I would like to know if you guys like it ...and also what would be its current price on the market?

    Thanks!!!

Can you post a close up of the reverse of the BWB?

I might be wrong but this looks like one of the recent fakes - the rust and the hinge just look so familiar.

Also I don't like the packet.

Do you have the BWB in hand? If so is the hinge very high?

Sorry double post due to the delayed reaction of the SQL (or something else on the forum! Please moderators get it fixed - it's driving us all insane )

Ring, have a look at the thread below -

            http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...highlight=fake

OK, your BWB does not have the bad look of the posted BWB, but there are big, very big similarities.

As said before, without a close up of the rear I'm not saying catagorically it's a fake, so please post some closeups of the rear.

Better pictures are needed to form an opinion on your badge although there seem to be some concerns.

I would NOT want the packet in my collection. Every other 32 Maker - Hobacher packet I have seen is marked with a 107 in the name box seen on the reverse.

Yours does not have this where indicated.

              Hope this helps,
              Dennis

Here are some packet markings taken from badge and packet combinations that I feel good about.

Everything about that packet says fake to me. For example - considering the rust on the badge, there are no stains or signs of it being stored in an area where there is moisture - the packet is "pristine" - it does not add up.

Ring, sorry I've taken the liberty of posting a link to this tread on the Cases and packets forum - you should get more comment on the packet there.

                        Black wb

Sorry to say the badge is a new made German copy as popping up now and then.
