Is my Silver wound badge a fake!?!?! I bought this from Bill Shea, so I think it would be original but, i have seen some of the "30" placed in the center instead of the bottem, and they said it was origianl. What do ya'll think??? Thanks Allot!!!

Your 30 silver wound badge looks like a genuine ZINC badge with the number RAISED above the catch. Genuine nickel-silver/tombak 30-marked wound badge have the number STAMPED in the centre of the badge. Same manufacturer, different materials, different markings, different hinge/pin/catch, different period of manufcature (the zincers being later).

Yes, hes a good man, every time Ive get something new I email him and he is always happy And when I ordered this wound badge I called him to order it, and I got to ask him about his German Order. BTW I have never seen Bill or a photo of him does you have a photo of him? Thanks ALLOT!
