I have noticed that the '65' mark tends to float about a bit in its positioning, i have one that is very feint and is very low and left on the helmet.

I was thrilled when I finally got a triple marked KuQ 65 42 black wound badge, along with a 65 marked stickpin to boot!

Is it the larger or smaller font KuQ ?

I didn't realize there was such a following for these. I have been looking for one to complete my "65" wound badge family. Went to the SOS this year figuring it would be easy. Nope. The first day second or third table, I found a double marked one for $175. Well, I ain't spending that much right off the bat and I just wanted a single marked one anyway. So the rest of the show I'm looking, and looking, and looking. Nothing - can't find a one. The the last day, last table the last bwb I look at (I ain't kiddin')....its a single marked "65". Got it at a good price too ($30). Well, heres my example to continue the thread.

Thanks for the kind remarks guys. Chet knew I was pretty excited over finding my latest 65. I've been looking for another KuQ 65 42 for his son.

Nate: I don't even want to know how many BWBs I have......how about an "excessive number". I enjoyed the added pic of your 65. The only 42 marked 65 I am aware of is the K&Q 65 42 type I posted.

Tony: A very nicely conditioned example you have there. I appreciate your pointing out the maker mark specifics.

Slim: Your badge looks fine to me and has character (perfect wear).

Chris: PM me at some point and let me know which 65s you are looking for in case I run across some up here.

The search goes on for all of the nice examples Ronnie & Thomas have that I don't. If I see another triple 65, I'll let you know.

Found a 42 mark on a 65 BWB I have here. I was taking some pics of what I thought was a double marked K&Q 65 well I believe I found a faint 42.

I will post pics this evening.
