    Cloth Wound Badges

Here are the three badges that belong to a friend of mine. These have been in his collection since the 60s or 70s.

The collector who has these has had them so long that he remembers little about the source. However, he did tell me that he had a friend who was an assault gunner. This assault gunner preferred either "cloth badges" or none at all. He said the metal badges were always catching on the hatch edge or something else.

            Reverse.

As I stated on the "Cloth Wound Badge in Black" thread, the collector originally obtained these badges from the US veteran who brought these back.
