Interesting badge for sure. The only L/60 I have seen belonged to Mike and it turned out to be post war stamped I believe. Yours looks like a good tomback wound badge to me but I am not good enough with these to name a maker by design yet. Lets see what Chris and Stevenand the other wb guys say.Last edited by greg.hays; 04-10-2006, 12:48 PM.

AK and Greg:
It is an interesting badge.
Mike's badge was a Deschler design SWB with the "Odd Helm". It features the "so called" Wernstein setup, and has the maker mark located on the center reverse.
Here is the reverse image of Mike's badge.
I will follow up with a maker mark comparison for discussion purposes.

Mike's award the maker mark looking more convincing but the follow reasons ring my bells for what is going on.
Brehmer is known WB maker not scarce maker but not a common one and the dies logicly will be lesser comparing with other major manufacturers , his PKZ solid issue is known only one type so far, as LDO partially licenced firm 2 different types ? This is strange.
These two examples who shown here are completely different in every aspect between them and if you compare them with the '13' WB they not much either. This is strange.
Mike's WB is good but i heven't convinced yet as a Brehmer WB.
AK's WB perhaps is good too but generally i don't like this mark and the same reason apply here as Mike's WB.
Distributor markings? Possibly but you will never know.sigpic
