    Unmarked 30 woundbadge?

I believe this is a silver unmarked 30 woundbadge with a wartime replacement pin. Though the photos lack sharpness, the reverse has concentric circles. All opinions welcome. Thanks, Ron.

Definitely has the distinctive catch and the swirl finishing on the reverse of the badge. However, the hinge looks like a replacement.

Got another angled view of that Ron?

Darrell, the pin is definitely a replacement. I will post more pics. Ron

Got me scratching the noggin tonight Ron

Is there any traces of a squarish looking area that looked like it may have had one of these two type hinges at one time?

                  b. Thin needle type hinge (although a gold, same difference):

Definitely some disturbance to the base metal around the hinge area.

You can barely see the origional hinge mark in the photo but its there.

I would even venture to guess its maybe the original pin, but replaced hinge itself. Look at my gold one up top. Appears almost identical pin shape around that hinge.

Plus the fact that the pin with the replaced hinge isnt the correct length to keep it snuggly secure in the catch. The bent piece on the bottom of the hinge doesnt touch the back of the medal. Yet with the original hinge, it probably did ...

Yes it looks alot the pin on yours and that could be the reason it barely makes the catch. Ron
