Finally my L54 WB family has been complete!

After seeking for quite sometime a descent L54 hollow brass WB, imo is hard to find the brass type by this maker, this morning arrived in home

I think i have complete the line with all the known variations and types, hope that is no other variation out there because...

Hollow types, the difference with the more common steel is not only the materials but also the hinge.

Solid types, the difference on them is only the catch, the first has the hook style and the other the 'C' style, intresting on my example that on the half die in the face of the badge has used mostly copper.

                    Chris:

Great looking L54 set you've put together. I like each one of them.

                    They make a fantastic foursome.

Thank you guys for your kind words

*Ronny very nice trick I thought at first place from your comments that i haven't research this maker enough and i was waiting to see pictures of the other variations

*Darell, i'll show my WB collection when i finish it, this of course will took some time maybe years, i have lost several WBs from a recent disaster and i have started on some types almost from the begin, add that i collect them as much possible in mint condition and ALL the known types and variations from the makers, this is my quest

The next quest will be the IAB

Thanks. I once managed to pull out all my soviet medals (in their individual packets) and layed them on the floor for a group shot. Then put them all away. It took me almost an hour and a half

                          Congrats Chris

In my eyes the WB was and still a underestimated badge. We can all learn a lot from these badges, take for instance the setup………………..
